Captains Statement 2017

It has been a huge honour to assume the role of Captaincy this year and be the 1st Captain of the Society. The feeling of ‘Driving In’ on that sunny Easter Sunday at Milford Golf Club is a feeling I’ll never forget, even more so after I nailed it down the middle, green in reg and 2 putted. An enjoyable year was also capped off by being able to host the end of season event at Wanstead in September. The role was born this year but I’m confident the new Captain can take this role on to new levels of prestige in the coming year. This year will live long in the memory but the time has come to welcome a new Captain in to the society and it is my pleasure and honour to nominate Mikey Ewang as our 2018 Captain.
